Job Overview Curriculum and Assessment Developers (CAD) design and refine curriculum materials for our network. They collaborate with instructional coaches and school leaders to ensure effective teaching and learning. Responsibilities include creating pacing calendars, unit plans, lesson plans, assessments, and refining instructional strategies. We have openings for: Elementary School Social Studies Elementary School Science Middle School Science Responsibilities Include: Design high-quality pacing calendars, unit plans, and lesson plans. Create assessments aligned with standards and performance goals. Develop lesson materials and curricula for units of study. Ensure instructional plans meet standards and district expectations. Collaborate regularly with school leadership and coaches. Evaluate and recommend instructional materials. Develop, monitor, and implement assessment plans. Lead professional development aligned with district goals. Analyze trends and student data to inform instruction. Monitor curriculum effectiveness and adjust as needed. Coordinate with management to order materials. Perform other tasks as needed. Requirements New York State Teaching Certification required. M.A. in Education or related field required. Experience in curriculum development and assessment design. At least three years of successful teaching experience. Proven record of achievement. Commitment to urban education improvement, especially for underserved scholars. Note: This is a 12-month position. Benefits Starting salary $70,000, commensurate with experience.
