Job Description

Position Title: Electrician

Wage: $28.00-$40.00 per hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7:00am-4:00pm

QPS Employment Group has a great Electrician position available at a company in Franksville, WI. This is a 1st shift, direct hire position. 

Electrician Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Commercial wiring work in a manufacturing environment.
- Aiding in construction of building - installing siding, trim work, hanging doors, and other associated tasks.
- Running, bending, and hanging conduit.
- Pulling wire.
- Installing boxes.
- Making terminations.
- Support installation of new control panels.
- Wiring generators and control panels.
- Material handling.

Electrician Requirements:
- Basic electrical knowledge preferably in a manufacturing environment - including how to read plans and specifications.
- Knowledge of NEC Code.
- Knowledge of how to use basic hand tools such as hammer, drills, and various saws.
- Knowledge of how to use and read levels and tape measure.
- Problem Solving/Analysis.
- Strong Communication Skills.
- Flexibility.
- Frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with hands and arms. 
- Required to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl.
- Frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
- High School Diploma or GED with relevant experience.
- Post-secondary education or trade school; Journeyman Electrician is preferred but not required.
