This division creates compelling and differentiated traveler value for each brand by setting the strategic vision, operating strategy, and plan. Responsibilities include investment allocation and prioritization, P&L accountability, and leading cross-functional teams across Expedia Group, who are all held accountable to a single scorecard. We are looking for a dynamic, motivated Senior Manager to join the Expedia & Portfolio team at Expedia Group. This role will be responsible for identifying directions to drive growth and optimize business results for our Portfolio brands (e.g., Travelocity, Orbitz, Hotwire, Cheaptickets, Wotif, eBookers, and CarRentals.com). You will monitor key business metrics, identify opportunities for improvements, and work across functional teams to optimize performance. This role reports to the VP, Expedia Lodging & Portfolio. In this role, you will: Monitor and drive performance of Portfolio brands across lines of business to deliver the annual plan, in partnership with Performance Insights, Finance, and Analytics. Identify key initiatives, evaluate trade-offs, and lead cross-functional teams across Expedia Group to enable successful execution, e.g., optimizing investment strategy to align profitability with growth and marketplace needs. Be a key member of an engaged and inspired team which monitors business performance, identifies risks and opportunities, and drives cross-functional working groups to deliver key KPIs. Collaborate closely with Marketing, Product Analytics, Product & Tech, Supply, Analytics, and Finance teams to build forward-looking annual and 3-year strategic and operational plans. Experience and qualifications: 8+ years of business management, B2C ecommerce, B2C strategy, or P&L management experience. Bachelor's degree (Business Management, Economics, Finance) or MBA preferred; or equivalent professional experience. Curious and passionate, with a desire to continually learn more, to understand business operations and the levers that drive profitable growth. Ability to synthesize complex problems with excellent written and oral communication skills. Strength in using data-driven insights and frameworks to enable actionable decision-making. Demonstrated ability to work in cross-functional teams, influence, and align stakeholders to achieve successful outcomes without direct authority. Motivated by goal achievement and continuous improvement, with enthusiasm to motivate your team and the wider organization. The total cash range for this position in New York is $166,000 to $232,500, with potential to increase up to $265,500 based on performance. In Seattle, the range is $155,000 to $217,000, with potential to increase up to $248,000. Starting pay will vary based on location, experience, and other factors. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
