Responsibilities Architect, design, simulate and validate thermal performance of microelectronic devices and systems. Model thermal system for thermal response simulations. Perform transient and steady state thermal response simulation. Measure thermal performance with varying power user cases. Define and characterize thermally enhanced materials and processing (such as thermal interface materials) for hardware components and systems. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field; Masters or PhD degree preferred. 12+ years of hands-on experience in thermal analysis and thermal measurement. Fundamental understandings on thermal conduction, convection and radiation. Experience in Python, MATLAB or C++ coding. Experience with Ansys Icepak, Flotherm or equivalent. Working knowledge on Cadence Allegro, Redhawks SCET, CAD tools, Ansys mechanical simulation tools is a plus. Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. Pay Disclosure Salary Range for California Based Candidates: $191,600.00 - $239,500.00 (Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, location and other factors permitted by law).
