Job Details

Jobot is partnering with a growing Technology company to fill a position as a Staff Accountant. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for the following:

• Perform monthly reconciliations of benefit-related accounts, including healthcare, retirement plans, and payroll deductions.
• Collaborate with the People Team to ensure benefit costs are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved.
• Analyze benefit expenses and trends to provide insights and reporting to finance and HR leadership.
• Assist in the month-end and year-end close process related to benefit accruals and liabilities.
• Research and implement best practices for benefits-related accounting and reporting.
• Support audits and ensure compliance with federal, state, and company benefit policies.
• Work with external vendors to confirm accurate benefit billing and adjustments.
• Assist with payroll when needed

If you have a Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business, 3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preference being for candidates that have experience working in benefits related accounting (payroll/401k/healthcare account reconciliations), outstanding communication skills with a self-motivated mentality, exceptional attention to detail and deadlines, strong systems experience, eager to add value and collaborative with a diverse team in a fast paced environment than this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
