While this role will oversee one direct report, a commitment to influential leadership will be necessary to drive brand strategy across the full global organization.Let's break down that day-in-the-life a bit more.Strategic Vision: Serve as the voice of the Expressive/Lifestyle Consumer - developing and implementing a modern and distinctive strategic vision for The North Face's lifestyle brand with a thorough understanding and respect for our authenticity in the outdoors.Relationship Building: Own, establish, and nurture relationships with key players in the fashion, retail, and outdoor industries to drive brand collaboration and partnerships.Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive landscape in the lifestyle segment as well as at the intersection of fashion and the outdoors.Category + Campaign Management: Deliver annual category and seasonal campaign strategy through the go-to-market process with a fully integrated plan approach.Product Marketing: Implement best-in-class product marketing for our lifestyle + sportswear products across apparel, footwear, equipment, and accessories.Performance Metrics: Monitor and analyze brand performance metrics to measure effectiveness of strategies and campaigns, making data-driven adjustments as needed and providing regular reporting of such to leadership + key stakeholders.Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product design, merchandising, marketplace, and marketing teams to ensure we show up in an authentic and consistent manner across all key touchpoints and aligned with the company's mission, vision, and values.Innovation: Drive innovation in brand marketing, leveraging modern marketing techniques to engage and inspire the next generation of consumers.Budget Management: Manage project budget planning, invoicing, and reconciliation for global creative productions, partnerships, and special activations.People Leadership: Lead and manage one direct report (currently).What do you need to succeed?We all have unique skills that we bring to work and celebrate every day. For this role, there are foundation skills you'll need to succeed and excel. An ideal candidate will have 8+ years of relevant experience within a global organization and a comprehensive understanding of the fashion and lifestyle industry.The foundational skills you will need in this position are:Tenured experience in global brand marketing and people management within the lifestyle/fashion industry.Proven track record of developing and executing successful brand strategies and campaigns in a global organization, understanding the nuances of global alignment and regional localization.An expert in navigating the world of fashion, streetwear and lifestyle products/culture. Understanding the roll of brands, tastemakers, retailers, professional athletes, and additional influences within a dynamic and nuanced lifestyle ecosystem.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with industry leaders.Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data and trends.Passion for creativity, innovation, and problem-solving. Leading from a place of curiosity to identify grey space opportunities for the brand.Adept at working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.Must be proficient in Keynote/PowerPoint, Word, Excel, and comfortable using other database platforms such as social media platforms, project management software, and more.Location: This leadership role is based in Denver, Colorado. Hybrid work will be considered for applicants in key lifestyle markets.There are also a few skills that are not required but preferred.Connectivity to the outdoors, preferably within snow, climb, or trail run.Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
