The Tunkhannock ConvenientCare+ clinic provides patients with an alternative to the Emergency Department when prompt intervention is needed to treat worsening illness or exacerbation of a chronic condition. ConvenientCare+ offers an attractive schedule with 14 rotating shifts per month, no overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts. Shifts are 11 hours (Monday-Friday) and 10 hours (Saturday-Sunday). Support staff includes Advanced Practice Providers, RNs available all hours, Phlebotomy, and Radiology Techs. Specialized equipment includes telemedicine carts, negative pressure rooms, and continuous vital sign monitoring. Diagnostics available include X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, and MRI. Hospital admissions can be made directly from this hospital-based clinic if necessary. Services include diagnostics such as laboratory and imaging studies onsite, as well as various treatments. The successful candidate will be family medicine or emergency medicine residency trained with a passion for urgent care medicine. Education required is Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine. The candidate must be a Licensed Medical Doctor in the State of Pennsylvania. Skills required include patient care and procedural skills, professional etiquette, and systems-based practice.
